Annual Workshops
Since our Core Group Members come from all over the world and meet virtually throughout the year, we host an annual Summer Workshop & Meet Up to bring everyone together. With our leadership team, members have the opportunity to brainstorm, explore, design, and grow in friendship, all in person! Activities include speakers, discussions on topics like ethics in STEM, exploring the city, college tours, design thinking work sessions, and brainstorming and collaboration to plan the future of STEMxx Chats. The outcomes and feedback from our workshops shape our programs and allow members to actively stay involved in STEMxx Chats development. Above all, our workshops foster true friendship and support in a way that cannot be done online, and they renew our members’ motivation to live out our values and spread our mission in their hometowns and campuses.
